I made bbq biscuits last night. They were a huge hit at our house. The girls helped out with all of it. We had a blast. So here is the recipe, just incase anyone wants to make them. I found a recipe that called for beef but we don't do beef that much. So I used ground turkey and I also made my own bbq sauce.
Here they are as we were putting them in the oven.
Recipe for bbq sauce:
1 small can of tomato sauce (8oz)
same amount of A-1 steak sauce
3-4 splashes of soy sauce
4-8 splashes of Yoshida sauce
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of honey
dash of red pepper
Then heat to blend the spices.
So yummy! It has a sweet taste.
Ok so here is the biscuit recipe:
1 pound ground beef or turkey-we used turkey
Bisquick and make the biscuits on the back
1 cup of cheese
1-2 cups of bbq sauce
bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes

I love cooking with my children. Good memories!
I can't believe how big they are getting! It's amazing. K's hair is soooo long! My kids love helping out in the kitchen too. Paticularly when there is something to eat or a spoon to lick!
You are not helping me with my diet. LOL
